Concrete Jungle
For the Project ‘Artsurprise’, I created a number of concrete sculptures with the dimensions 5x8 centimeters.
The project consisted of making pieces of art the size of cigarette boxes.
These boxes are sold all over Europe in discarded cigarette automats (vending machines).
Inside the boxes I added the following text:
‘Surprises from the concrete jungle
A print of the city’s soul
Shapes that are thousands of years old
We celebrate the return of the once banished nature gods
When the sun takes its mystical position, it reveals what blooms beyond’
